Bizprout Expert Systems Pvt. Ltd. (“BizproutX”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through bizproutx.com (the “website”), how we use and safeguard it, and the rights available to you. By using the website or submitting information through it, you acknowledge the practices described here.

1. Who we are

Bizprout Expert Systems Pvt. Ltd. (CIN: U72900KA2019PTC129211), a company incorporated in India, with its registered office at # 2/7, 80 Feet Road, RMV 2nd Stage, Bangalore 560 094, Karnataka, India. For any privacy matter, contact our Grievance Officer at grievance@bizproutx.com.

2. Personal data we collect

We collect only the data you choose to provide, plus limited technical data needed to run the website securely:

• Information you submit through our enquiry, assessment, demo, and newsletter subscription forms — such as your name, company, number of employees, work locations, email address, phone number, and any message you send us.
• Technical logs — web-server logs (including IP address, which we retain only briefly — see Section 8) used for security, fraud prevention, and aggregate, non-identifying analytics.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data through the website, and you do not need an account to browse it.

3. How we use your data and our lawful basis

We use your personal data to respond to your enquiry; provide an assessment, demo, or information you request; send compliance updates and newsletters you have opted into; operate, secure, and improve the website; and comply with applicable law. Our lawful basis is your consent (given when you submit a form or subscribe) and, where relevant, our legitimate business interests and legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Consent and withdrawal

We collect form data only with your consent, indicated by the consent checkbox at the point of submission. You may withdraw consent, unsubscribe, or object to processing at any time by emailing privacy@bizproutx.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.

5. Cookies and analytics

The website uses privacy-friendly, cookieless server-log analytics. We do not set third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Some pages embed a Google Maps map to show our office location; when such a page loads, Google may receive your IP address and set its own cookies under Google's Privacy Policy. No other third-party trackers are used.

6. How we share your data

We share personal data only with our own staff who need it to respond to you; trusted service providers who host or transmit data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations (for example, our cloud hosting provider); and authorities where disclosure is required by law. Our current service provider is Amazon Web Services (AWS), which we use for hosting and for delivery of form submissions and related emails (via Amazon SNS), bound by confidentiality and data-processing terms. We do not otherwise disclose your data to third parties for their own marketing.

7. Where your data is stored

Your personal data is stored on infrastructure located in India — our in-house data centre at our Bangalore office and Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers in the Mumbai region. Although some of our clients are multinational companies, we serve their India-based offices, and we do not transfer your personal data outside India for storage. We do not carry out any other overseas processing of your personal data.

8. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected and to meet our legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations. In particular: enquiry, assessment, and demo request data is retained for 3 months after our final response or the inquiry's closure; newsletter subscriber data is retained for 12 months from your last engagement with our emails; and website server logs are deleted automatically through routine log rotation, and are kept for no longer than 14 days. Where a client contract or Data Processing Agreement (DPA) governs the data and requires immediate deletion, we delete it immediately in accordance with that agreement. When data is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymise it.

9. Security

We maintain appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, or loss, with information-security practices aligned to ISO/IEC 27001. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to address any incident promptly.

9A. Data breach notification

In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India without undue delay, and in any case within the timeframe required by the DPDP Act, 2023. We maintain incident-response procedures to detect, contain, and respond to security incidents promptly.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including the DPDP Act, 2023 and, to the extent applicable, the GDPR), you may request to access the personal data we hold about you; correct or update it; erase it; withdraw consent; and nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity. To exercise any right, email privacy@bizproutx.com. We will respond within 30 calendar days; if more time is genuinely needed, we will notify you before that deadline with a revised timeline not exceeding 60 days in total. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India (or other applicable data protection authority) independently of, and without needing to first use, our internal grievance process.

12. Children

The website and our services are intended for businesses and professionals, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child without appropriate consent, we will delete that data within 30 days. A parent or guardian may contact us at privacy@bizproutx.com to request deletion of a child's data.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the “last updated” date shown below.
